Can I suggest great caution is used when english teaching work is advertised as an 'internship'.
An internship should be a way for someone who lacks experience to gain some in a particular field,
usually for low pay. However, in the English teaching sector there are many many unqualified,
inexperienced teachers working for full wages - so unless there's some hidden perk in there, or
they actually pay a decent salary, I'd steer clear and get an English teaching 'job' instead.

Thanks for the useful advice Roddy, completely unfamiliar territory for newbies like me =)

There seems to be a few of these organisations offering these internships.

The non-teaching placements seem quite interesting, but I haven't heard much about them only from
what is mentioned on the website).

Has anyone applied for one of these or taken a placement?
