Beijing would never disappoint those seeking something special. From top
luxury products once the reserve of royals to the most popular
international designs and unique folk creations, all can be found in
these new stores.


Kunlun Gallery

This is place for men who love luxury. Located 100 meters from the
five-star Kunlun Hotel, the store, with its low-key shaded gates,
features about 30 high-end brands. Among them are the top French jewelry
brand Levi Eichital design center, and Tourneau, the largest luxury watch
store in China. There is also Puyi Optical, and Zhaoyi Jade House, plus
the Citibank VIP private Finance Management Center.

Products costing tens of thousands of yuan are not a surprise here, as
items for sale include diamonds and emeralds, as well as antique watches.
Kunlun Gallery is now hosting a sale on luxury watches, jewelry and
antiques. Purchases over 288 yuan get a free bottle of wine; over 2,888
yuan, a free lighter; and over 28,888 yuan, free LV products.

CAT Lifestyle Mall

Dashanzi's first shopping mall features fashion that is slightly left of
center. This mall reinvents the concept as a lifestyle destination, with
the complex comprising lounge areas on each floor and lavish lingerie
changing areas on the third floor. There is a rooftop garden and an open
swimming pool where you can enjoy sunbathing. For male customers, the
10,000-square-meter golf court on the fifth floor is provided to kill the
tedium while girlfriends or wives enjoy shopping.

Local artists have been commissioned to create artwork decorating the
mall, such as the bejeweled hand in the "bling garden" and the athlete
sculptures dotted around the sports area on the fifth floor.

A place for some unique local fashion and international brands, the
five-floor mall offers nearly 100 brands, including a nail salon and a
hairdresser and a huge supermarket.
