Beijing will hold a "Malaysian Food Festival" in the Coffee Garden of
Shangri-La's Kerry Centre Hotel in conjunction with a spectrum of events,
festivals and shows organised by the Malaysian Embassy during "Malaysia
Week".

Throughout the 12 days of the festival, the hotel's Coffee Garden will
offer diners sumptuous spreads of culinary delights that will reflect the
diversity of tastes from across Malaysian states. Guest Chefs Mohammad
Adha bin Yusuf and Hairy Ismail bin Abdul Rahman from Shangri-La Hotel,
Kuala Lumpur will present a rotating menu of dishes on the daily lunch
and dinner buffet.

The Food Festival is held in conjunction with a range of events being
organised to celebrate "Malaysia Week" (27鈥�31 August 2007) at The Kerry
Centre Hotel, Beijing. Organised by the Malaysian Embassy in Beijing to
celebrate 50 years of nationhood in conjunction with "Visit Malaysia
2007", the line-up of events encompasses the field of visual, performing
and culinary arts, from art demonstrations and photo exhibitions to
traditional dance and song, and cooking displays.
